Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a wealthy family. Doody is the youngest of three children. She was a student at a nunnery, and developed an interest to the arts. Then, she attended the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin and then left the college because there was a lack of motivation. The thought was that she'd stop for a few days to get the hang of things. While in a restaurant with friends and chatting with friends, she was approached by a photographer in a still mode who asked her if she would want to do a modeling. As if she had pocket money, she decided to say yes. The modeling business proved profitable and enjoyable, and quickly she was modeling professionally. Modeling agreements led to commercials and she also traveled around the world. When she saw her acting talent, she was encouraged to try modeling. At the age of 19, the casting director accompanied her to London which she landed an audition to be a part of A View to a Kill the newest James Bond film. It was her dream to act and she ultimately decided to go after a career as an actor. She shot TV dramas both in London as well as Dublin in the wake of her debut movie.
